So You Want to Join The Fire Department
Do you want to give back to your community? Maybe you should think about volunteering your time with the Heuvelton Volunteer Fire Department. Below you will find the current requirements to become a member of our department. If you meet the criteria then contact us and let us know, we will let you know if an opening exists. REQUIREMENTS FOR MEMBERSHIP
- All Candidates for membership must have their application signed by two members in good standing, and returned to the Executive Board with the sum of One Dollar ($1.00 US)
- If No Opening exists when the application is submitted, the applicants name will be placed on a waiting list. Said applications shall be reviewed by the Executive Board every six months from the date of the application, or sooner if an opening shall occur.
- The applicant must be at least eighteen (18) years of age and reside in the Heuvelton Volunteer Fire protection area for a period of six months prior to the date of the application
- All applications require the signature of TWO active members in good standing as sponsors, and must be accompanied by $1.00.
